Carrying Cases, Sample Cases, Sales Cases, Carry-On Cases and Portable Cases
What are these types of cases?
These types of cases are each slightly different.
"Carrying Cases" and "Portable Cases" designate cases that can be picked-up and carried, or wheeled, comfortably by one person. "Carry-On Cases" describes carrying cases that are specifically made to airline specifications, for passengers to keep with them during the flight instead of checking them through Baggage Claim. "Sales Cases" describes carrying cases whose primary function is to aid the salesperson in presenting product. "Sample Cases" refers to carrying cases that are designed to hold product in a manner that facilitates an effective sales presentation.
However, although the designs of these types of cases vary according to their intended uses and the nature of their intended contents, the constructions of these types of cases are very similar.
They all can have stock or custom exteriors made of plastic (including blow molded), metal, wood and corrugated. They all have custom or customizable interiors, usually made of wire-cut, die-cut or dice foam. These interiors serve to exactly position and protect your product or equipment. Lastly, all of them are available with a common set of options, including tilt wheels, recessed wheels, recessed hardware, extension / telescoping handles, tool / instrument palettes, trays, partitions, compartments, dividers, custom printing, logo screening, etc.
